Welcoming an au pair to your family means you are receiving a cultural exchange experience like no other while getting assistance with child care in a way that enables you and your children to live a more relaxed life. No rushing off to daycare when the caretaker is just down the hallway.
All of our au pairs have at least 200 hours of recent child care experience and must pass a rigorous screening process and background check to be eligible for the program. Upon arrival in the U.S., our comprehensive orientation program features child development training, child safety training, customized American Red Cross training (exclusive to Au Pair in America) and an optional AAA driver safety training specifically designed for au pairs.
Our team will get to know you personally and review your preferences to address your family’s specific child care needs. From selecting an au pair to ongoing support throughout the program, we’re here to make sure everything goes smoothly for you every step of the way. You can also count on our unrivaled network of support to help you make any necessary adjustments for the comfort and safety of your family and au pair throughout your time as a host family.
